BIGGLESWADE might be the current Spartan South Midlands champions but they were given a bloody nose on the opening day by the 2016 winners AFC Dunstable.
On a lush carpet of a pitch at Creasey Park, the first real chance fell to the home striker Josh Crawley whoswas saved by James Connell. It was a warning that Biggleswade did not heed.
