THE LEADERS were beaten by the division’s in-form team at the StacatrucStadium, as a well-organised Melksham side stifled the threat of Thatcham.
In a game of little quality, great strikes by Luke Ballinger and Albert Hopkins won the game for the visitors.
The opener came on eight minutes when Jack Ball headed on a long clearance, Jake Mawford knocked the ball across the edge of the penalty area, and Ballinger fired in a stunning first-time shot across Paul Strudley and into the goal.
