WORKSOP Town ended Belper Town’s ninegame unbeaten run on a stormy afternoon at the Raygar Stadium.
The hosts had plenty of possession but couldn’t make it count, and the visitors took a surprise lead when a wind-assisted shot on the turn from Matthew Sykes went in off the underside of the crossbar after 40 minutes.
The Nailers threw men forward in the second half but were caught on the break on 72 minutes and Freddy Tracey put the Tigers two up.
