■ STOCKTON put the pressure on from the first whistle with a series of set-pieces and crosses around Lincoln United’s box.
Their approach paid off after the 30-minute mark when Alfie Conway tucked the ball away into the bottom corner.
The second half was oneway traffic, Stockton extended their lead through Nathan Steel and Michael Roberts.
Callum Foster for United made two important blocks to stop the match being a rout.
However, in the 88th minute substitute Nathan Mulligan rifled the ball in at the near post.
