■ CHICHESTER CITY scored twice in five second-half minutes to keep up the pressure on leaders Three Bridges.
Beckenham Town were desperate for a win, and they probably had the best chance of a very cagey opening half but Louie Theophanous’ shot was too close to Kieran Magee, who was quickly off his line.
Three minutes into the second half, the Beckenham defence was opened up and Conrad Donore opened the scoring. Steve Hutchings doubled the lead leaving Beckenham with a mountain to climb, a task they found beyond them.
