VAUXHALL Motors se- a vital three points cured against Stalybridge Celtic on a wet and windy afternoon.
Lonsdale put Celtic in front after ten minutes, curling a free-kick over Alexander Hughes.
Celtic lost striker Darius Osei and midfielder Greg Wilkinson to injury early on before Joe Brandon picked out at the back post and headed the ball in from a narrow angle.
After the stroke of halftime, Bobbie Beaumont was found free at the far post to head in a second.
