HEYBRIDGE Swifts fought off a spirited effort from a young Stowmarket side, to secure three goals and all three points.
Swifts dominated the ball for all of the early stages, and got their breakthrough when James Askew fumbled straight to Sam Bantick, who tapped home. Swifts started the second half quickly and doubled their advantage via Quba Gordon, who powerfully headed home. Bantick got on the scoresheet again in the 71st minute with an impressive turn and fi nish.
