■ STALYBRIDGE Celtic secured a hard-fought three points against Hanley Town in a wet and windy day at Bower Fold.
The home side started the game quickly and took the lead after just ten minutes with Aaron Dwyer scoring a stunning opening goal on his return to the side. Hanley grew into the game and scored a deserved equaliser, Luke Walsh connecting with a long throw at the back post to slot the ball past Luke Hewitson.
It looked as if the game was going to end level until 12 minutes from time.
