■ LANCING came from behind late on to defeat Merstham in the Isthmian League South East Division to remain within five points of the play-off places.
It initially looked likely to be an afternoon to forget for the visitors, with Tom Collins’ strike in the 55th minute handing Merstham the lead and giving Lancing the tough take of turning the game on its head.
They did just that, however. Andrew Briggs’ goal levelled things up and handed Lancing all the hope they needed in the 74th minute.
