BOOTLE brushed aside Chasetown in what was a comfortable home win.
After an even opening, with both keepers being tested, Ben Hodkinson found the net for Bootle just shy of half an hour into the game with a headed goal assisted by Michael Burkey.
Unfortunately for Bootle the man who assisted the first goal went off injured minutes after and was replaced by Jake Burton.
Four minutes into the second half Bootle doubled their lead as Tom Peter-son’s close-range volley was delivered from a brilliant ball by Hodkinson.
