Oaks’ Jahmal Howlett-Mundle went close to a third goal in successive games, stabbing wide ten minutes after the restart following a good move involving home debutant Josh Ajahi and Kieron Cadogan. Hythe’s Lex Allen then missed out at the far post in stoppage-time with almost the last kick of game following a corner.
