■ ASHINGTON came from a goal down to defeat Grimsby Borough and jump above their hosts in the league table.
The Lincolnshire side took the lead after 18 minutes when Lewis Collins played the ball out to defender Luis Adlard who got forward on the left and his cross found Caine Winfarrah who made no mistake.
Ashington were level three minutes later when Ben Simpson side-footed home from Karl Ross’ cross.
The Colliers took the lead 10 later when Wilson Kneeshaw picked out Connor Thomson to score.
