■ TWO goals in as many minutes from Elliot Morris saw City of Liverpool take the points against 1874 Northwich.
The home side, who parted company with manager Damian Crossley in midweek, were much improved and Oli McFadyen went close for them in the first half.
A rebound after a great save from 1874 keeper Matthew Wonnacott found its way to Morris who stabbed home in the 73rd minute.
And Morris doubled the lead two minutes later,thumping in to the top right corner giving Wonnacott no chance.
It leaves 1874 rooted to the bottom of the table.
