AFTER two weeks of inactivity, Sittingbourne cemented their play-off place with a comfortable home win over East Grinstead Town.
But the game was overshadowed by a bad injury to impressive Brickies defender Mike Turner who was carried off with a suspected dislocated ankle after half-an-hour, causing a 15-minute delay.
Before the injury Mitchell May crashed a shot off the visitors’ left post, and once the game restarted Danny Parish sprinted away to open the scoring.
