CONSETT were made to pay for missed chances by Ashington, who picked up their first win in five games.
The visitors led after 24 seconds when Paul van Zandvliet followed up a Wilson Kneeshaw’s shot.
Consett equalised just before half-time when Karl Dryden saved from Wil Shaw, only to see the rebound go in off Dan Capewell’s knee.
In the 70th minute, the visitors went back in front when Charlie Exley fired in through a crowd. Consett’s reply was immediate, with Capewell stabbing in his second of the game. The winning goal came in the 8...
