ASHFORD United were resolutely beaten by an in form Sittingbourne at the Homelands.
Sittingbourne showed their intention in the third minute when Ilic went close from a Danny Parish pass. Sittingbourne then took the lead in the tenth minute via Mitchell May
Ashford equalised two minutes later through Max Walsh but five minutes later more good work by May presented Donvieve Jones with the chance to score the second. Parish added a third and just before half time May scored a fourth from the penalty mark.
