CORBY put Walsall to task, barely allowing them a touch of the ball in a resolute home win.
The home side were a goal up after 18 minutes when a terrible mix up in the Walsall defence, allowed Tristian Thompson-Matthews an easy tap-in.
Corby doubled the lead in the 26th minute when a long ball over the top was collected by Connor Tomlinson who drove into the box and beat the keeper at the tightest of angles.
