WALTHAMSTOW had the perfect conditions for Non-League Day, with a lovely spring day combined with their nearest league team, Leyton Orient, having their game postponed due to inter national call-ups.
The result was a season’s highest attendance of 512, who witnessed the home team’s play-off hopes extinguished by a determined Brightlingsea Regent.
