CHAMPIONS Leek lifted the Northern Premier League West trophy after an entertaining draw with playoff chasing Bootle.
With more to play for, the visitors pushed hard in the first half with the dangerous Ben Hodkinson coming close with a couple of efforts.
Leek began the second half strongly and took a deserved lead through Aaron Opoku’s close-range header after 58 minutes.
Jake Burton’s penalty after 68 minutes restored parity, however, and encouraged some late Bootle pressure.
