STOCKTON Town kept their faint title hopes alive with victory over Brighouse Town.
They almost went behind when Brighouse Town were awarded a penalty, but Myron Gibbons stepped up and kicked the ball twice. Just before the hour mark, Stockton Town took the lead when Glen Butterworth unleashed a strike into the top corner.
Less than 10 minutes later they had a second when Kev Hayes was played in and he finished past Jamie Hassall. Stockton had a third when Hayes had his low shot saved into the path of Michael Fowler who made no mistake.
