HEDNESFORD needed to win this game to stand a chance of avoiding relegation. And they gave their healthy following in another bumper crowd hope when they took the lead in the 14th minute, Jake Jervis firing an angled drive home from the edge of the box. Clitheroe were back on level terms in the 25th minute when Danny Wilkins collected the ball close to the byline before neatly working his way into the goal area and slotting home.
