THE Larks notched up their first-ever win against Bideford thanks to a towering performance from centre-forward Archie Ferris.
They had to claw back a 2-0 deficit, as Ryan Turner struck twice. Ferris scored his first just before the break. A pulsating second half saw four more goals.
Ferris levelled by collecting a long ball and calmly slotting home. He then got his hat-trick with a cheeky side-footed chip.
Turner’s third was assisted by a mistake by the Larks defence and it looked like the spoils would be shared. Ferris, however, had other ideas, ...
