■ A WEARY Belper Town playing their fourth game in seven days held out against championshipchasing Stockton for 60 minutes before conceding four goals.
It was to no avail for the visitors who were eventually pipped to the title by Hebburn.
An even first half was largely uneventful , but Adam Nicholson put Stockton ahead with a close range effort on the hour.
Michael Roberts got goal side of the Belper defence to extend the lead after 67 minutes, before Mason Frizelle conceded a 69th minute penalty that Kevin Hayes duly converted.
