ASHFORD UNITED’S disappointing season ended on a low note as they were beaten by Broadbridge.
The visitors took the lead in the sixth minute when a cross from the right found Ben Aubrey unmarked in front of goal. Ashford attempted to counter and two good efforts were well saved by Heath’s Alfie Hadfield.
The lead was doubled in the 23rd minute when Kyle Sim scored in similar fashion to the first.
Ashford rallied and were level at half time with goals from Lanre Azeez and David Ozobia.
