ALEX Phillipson’s goal in added time capped a stirring fightback by Stocksbridge as they wrecked Bishop Auckland’s NPL return after 18 years away.
He scrambled in Danny Deakin’s corner to secure a victory that had seemed unlikely when they trailed 2-0 after an hour.
Oscar Eckley-Aldsworth’s looping effort put the hosts ahead after 36 minutes.
Louis Johnson’s dinked effort doubled their lead before Tommy Marshall started the visitors’ rally by bundling in Alex Hardwick’s cross.
