TREY Charles settled a tight game with a 55thminute penalty at a sunny Butlin Road.
It had been a fairly even first half, although the hosts created the better chances with Tayo Tucker lifting over from close range and Darlaston keeper James Storer getting down well to keep out Charles’ effort.
Charles struck from the spot after Damien Osoimoejiokhian had been pulled down by Zac Kourouyianni, but Kieran Miller really should have equalised when he slipped as he met Rivel Mardenborough’s cross.
