AFTER struggling to win
■at home last season, Exmouth made the perfect start to the campaign with a comfortable win against a competitive Thatcham Town. Josh Cann opened the scoring when his cross was turned into the goal by the Thatcham keeper, giving the home side a half-time lead. It could have been more for Exmouth as Tom Bath saw his effort hit a post.
The lead was doubled after 71 minutes when another Cann cross was again headed into the goal.
