■ EMLEY took their unbeaten run to six games and gave Consett a lesson in clinical finishing to stay second in the table.
The visitors took the lead after 32 minutes when Luke Parkin’s corner picked out Amir Berchill to score with a back-post header.
Emley keeper Declan Lambton saved well from Belchior Rodrigues and Ben Ramsey hit a post early in the second half as Consett sought an equaliser. Centre-back Sam Pashley then headed in from a free-kick after 79 minutes, scoring again two minutes later in a goalmouth scramble.
