■ NEWTON Aycliffe saw off visitors Ossett United at a sunny Moore Lane.
Ossett were the first to score when Eddie Church found the ball with his head following a seventh-minute free-kick.
Aycliffe equalised when Cole Kiernan chipped over Ally Hughes in the 38th minute to make it three in three games for the forward.
The second half saw the home side run away with it when, in the 68th minute, Dale Elgie scored inside a crowded box after latching on to a blocked shot.
