■ A QUICKFIRE firsthalf trio of goals from Tavistock gave Larkhall a mountain to climb.
The visitors actually started well, with Ethan Cannings and Ryan Beckinsale coming close.
The balance of play then shifted to the Lambs. They won a corner and Jack Matthews scored with a free header. Tavistock doubled their advantage shortly afterwards when Charlie Elkington’s strike left the Larks defence flatfooted.
Two minutes later a Tavistock shot cannoned off the post only for Luke Steer to finish off the rebound.
