LUKE Wall picked a perfect moment to score his first goal for Runcorn Linnets as they ended a sequence of three defeats in all competitions.
His intervention was worth the wait too.
With little to separate the two side’s, he curled a gorgeous shot out of Congleton goalkeeper Dave Parton’s reach after 76 minutes to settle the closest of contests in the hosts’ favour.
