■ AN Andrew Dythe goal proved the difference for Erith as shot-shy Lancing’s early season struggles continued.
Erith were indebted to their two Taylors as Harry set up Dythe for the winner and goalkeeper Tommy saved a second-half spot kick.
Dythe volleyed in a Taylor cross after 18 minutes to give Erith a second victory from two games.
