■ THE returning Sefton Gonzales helped topple league leaders Bootle and at the same time he bagged himself a brace to take him to a century of Clitheroe goals.
Bootle’s Amadou Doumbouya opened the scoring with a clinical finish.
Clitheroe struggled to find their rhythm, but after 39 minutes Charlie Hayes-Green thumped in a header from a corner. And as the clock ticked down, Lenni Cirino was flattened in the box and Richie Baker converted the spot-kick.
