CONSETT won at home for the first time since March in new manager Jason Miller’s first game at Belle View.
Donny Holdsworth almost put them ahead after two minutes with a header from Ben Ramsey’s cross, but was denied by a super save by Dan Staples.
They took the lead after 12 minutes when Isaac Walker was fouled and although Staples saved Liam Colledge’s penalty, Marc Costello reacted first to head home.
