BRIGHTLINGSEA won this battle of the play-off hopeful Essex teams and took home a welcome three points from the Thames estuary.
Regent took the early lead by capitalising on a trio of Concord defensive errors which couldn’t have made it any easier, with Teddy Collis thanking his lucky stars while sweeping his shot into the bottom right corner.
The Beachboys upped their efforts as the half wore on but had no cutting edge, with their lacklustre attacks all amounting to nothing.
