CITY of Liverpool will urge the council to reconsider its decision to reject the club’s offer to convert a run-down park into a football pitch.
The Purps, persuaded by a surge of support after launching a petition to keep alive their campaign, want a second chance to make the case for transforming a derelict site into a permanent home.
However, Liverpool City Council has said it prefers to find an alternative location for a ground.
