■ BASHLEY moved up to fifth with a gritty win at Willand.
The hosts had the early chances, seeing two excellent opportunities cleared off the line.
The only goal came in the 34th minute, when Luke Holmes kept his composure one-on-one with the keeper and laid the ball off to Luke Delaney to slot in.
Both Delaney and Connor Whiteley wasted chances to extend the lead soon afterwards, as the visitors applied the pressure.
Willand again had an effort cleared off the line halfway through the second half with Bashley holding onto their slender lead.
