■ SHEFFIELD dragged themselves off the bottom of the table with a spirited comeback against Consett. They got off to the worst-possible start, going a goal down after three minutes. Edd Hall parried Isaac Walker’s 20-yarder onto the post, but Donny Holdsworth reacted first to finish.
In the 19th minute it was two. Walker picked up a loose ball, beat his man and scored with the help of a slight deflection. Sheffield started the second half on top and got one back in the 62nd minute via Josh Ayres. They continued to take the game to their hosts...
