■ BOLDMERE St Michaels secured the all-important three points with a late winner at home to rivals Sporting Kalsa.
An excellent game looked to be heading towards a goalless draw until the 80th minute. The Mikes took a long throw from near the corner flag, the ball bobbled like a pinball round the Khalsa goalmouth, and there was Liam Murphy to poke home what proved to be the winner.
A frenetic last quarter of an hour followed, as Khalsa twice came desperately close to gaining what would have been a deserved equaliser.
