HELSTON Athletic overcame adversity to overcome Bishops Cleeve.
Already missing three players, they lost both centre-halves to injury in the second half, but Baga Mariko stepped up an put in a man-ofthe-match performance.
Helston broke the deadlock early in the second half when a good cross from Jordan Copp found an unmarked Reece Thompson who made no mistake.
Aaron Evans-Harriott was a real threat out wide for Bishops Cleeve, and it was one of his crosses, after 63 minutes, that picked out Ben McLean to equalise.
