Ferriby could quite easily have been 2-0 up after 20 minutes with Levi Tarbotton hitting the bar and Josh Whiteley seeing an effort denied. The visitors had some spells of their own and found themselves ahead after 34 minutes after Jack Boyle capitalised on a defensive error.
It was on the hour-mark when Ferriby levelled that after being awarded a penalty. Up stepped Whiteley to convert his 12th goal of the season.
