■ A moment of brilliance saw Emley return to winning ways at the Home of Football, as they ran out winners over bottom side Sheffield FC.
Emley started strongly, going close when Ross Hardaker’s corner was met by the head of Charles Barks, only to see the ball blocked on the line. Club’s closest effort came when Connor Cutts’ header was stopped by keeper Declan Lambton.
Luke Parkin was mightily unlucky not to open the scoring, as his initial shot hit a post, with his rebounded effort cleared off the line by Brad Beatson.
