■ DARLASTON Town secured their first victory in three games with a much-needed win over Long Eaton United.
The home side raced into an early lead thanks to Tyler Bruck’s strike in the fourth minute.
Evan Garnett and James Shaw forced decent chances for the visitors, but neither could find the target and then, at the end of the first half, Darlaston goalkeeper James Storer produced a magnificent save to deny Ryan Campbell-Gordon.
