■ A STRONG performance from Phoenix Sports earned them all three points.
The hosts started well and were ahead after five minutes when debutant Will Grieveson headed a cross back to Richard Pingling who fired home.
Phoenix could and should have been further ahead at the break but Dashane Dalling and Kiye Martin each fired good chances high and wide.
Dalling was far more accurate early in the second half though as he combined with Lancing defender Charlie Gibson to force the ball over the line for the second, then scored the third himself following...
