■ BRENTWOOD maintained their playoff push with a late win at Newmarket Town yesterday afternoon.
Jesse Olukolu had early chances to open the scoring for Brentwood, but was denied by Jockey’s keeper James Young.
Danny Ogunleye, however, did not waste his chance in the 32nd minute, slotting home his 20th goal of the season.
Oscar Dean gave the hosts belief from the penalty spot in the 74th minute and Melvin Minter had to make a smart save from close range five minutes later to deny Newmarket from taking the lead.
