■ A LATE comeback from Deal Town provided a real smash and grab as they left Thornton Heath with all three points thanks to a Tom Chapman brace.
Croydon had taken the lead after 52 minutes with a good pass through the defence which David Omilabu picked up on and coolly rounded the keeper before slotting home.
The goal seemed to take some of the urgency from the team and Deal looked the more likely to score but two in a minute was more than they could have wished for.
