BERKHAMSTED recovered from the blow of Ben Walster’s dismissal to record a seventh successive win as they saw off the challenge of Thame United yesterday.
The table-toppers lost the full-back following a late challenge inside quarter of an hour, but rallied to take the lead shortly afterwards when captain Matt Bateman converted a cross from Louis Collier.
Collier doubled the Comrades’ advantage, helped by a defender’s deflection, after 25 minutes.
