■DAN Needham fifired Congleton Town to within a point of the summit of the league table as they defeated fellow playoff side Chasetown.
Needham has developed a habit of scoring in big games – earning the nickname ‘Big Game’ from fans – and with just 20 minutes to go, he tapped home after Ethan Hartshorn saw his shot parried by Curtis Pond.
