■ AFTER A disappointing defeat midweek, it was the perfect response from Avro who recorded a convincing win over Clitheroe.
A double from AJ Warburton and a strike from Liam Ellis rounded off a solid performance against a resilient Clitheroe side.
After injuries and suspension, it was a make shift back line but a battling performance maintained a strong defensive record.
Avro found early attacking options playing out wide and it was Dom Smalley and recent signing Malakai McKenzie who caused the Clitheroe defence all kinds of trouble on the right hand...
