LEATHERHEAD saw off Ascot United at Fetcham Grove. Rhys Murrell-Williamson scored after ten minutes with a sweetly struck shot into the bottom corner after good play by Kane Fitzgerald.
Kareem Akinnibi made it 2-0after 14 minutes with a good turn and shot after a goalmouth scramble.
Anuar Ceesay then put a shot well over the bar after 23 minutes.
Akinnibi had an open goal but put his header wide after 24 minutes with the Ascot defence clearing the ball off the line seconds earlier. Ceesay had a great effort after 29 minutes...
